The entire series keeps getting better. I haven't read Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie was good enough for me. However, I can tell you this is a heartfelt series. I love the characters. The story spells out like a daytime soap opera.By book 2 you will know if you choose to continue wanting to follow Hunter & Olivia.Hunter is that Real Man we all long for and Olivia is no damsel in distress - gotta respect her for that strength.The sex scenes gets much hotter in the second book and as in reality lust is replaced by love. Most of the. Comments in the third and fourth book complain about not enough sex scenes, but if you are reading for love then you can understand why the author begins to stray from sex and begins to build more on the characters.K.F. Breene is one for my favorite authors when it comes to love, lust and power in any form. I was shocked that she created another series as Darkness and I was unaware. Now, I understand why - The Darkness series is more paranormal fiction, but so worth the read!
I loved reading Now, Please (Please Series Book 2), all about Hunter Carlisle the gorgeous CEO & Olivia the twenty-two year old girl who now works for me & only signed one contract. Hunter took one look at Olivia and he knew he just had to have her, however she signed his employment contract but refused his personal contract and said no I don't want to work for you. Needless to say Hunter was stunned, so he changed the rule and said Olivia could work for him for one month and then they would revisit the two contracts after the month was up. The author wrote an incredible story, and the characters absolutely made the story come to life! In book one Olivia gets a one month shot at this admin position. In book two she's still working for Hunter and still only signed the employee contract, and they are flying by the seat of their pants over the personal issue! Read this series it will make you laugh, sigh, shake your head and cum up a storm! Read about Hunter & Olivia and fall in love with the both of them. Olivia is a normal run of the mill girl who loves her jeans & hoodies, and since meeting Hunter she has had to change her entire wardrobe! Follow these two and check out their adventures! I can't wait for book three!
I wish this book was a little longer for the price. I am glad it has two more books after it though. Same as the first book great writing. The intimate scenes started to feel a little repetitive in this book. The main reason for not giving this a five star though is I didn't like how the strong character Livy seemed to just give in after being hurt so badly. She starts out in the first book being stubborn and having self respect. In this book she gets hurt really bad and all it takes for Hunter to come back and say hey I want you back and she is his. Other than that writing and story was pretty good.
This is a very quick and erotic read. The sex is good and I like that Olivia takes charge in the bedroom. I loved the merger plot. What I didn't love was hunters father of the plot that surrounded it. Complete with the obligatory I can't be with you break up and now I must find a replacement plot line. It's so trite and cliche that I literally rolled my eyes when I got to that part,Loved Bruce and Brenda and Bert. But I'll beginning to thing the author has a b name fetish... Even hunters fiancée has a b name.In all this is good mostly brainless smut and if that's what you're looking for this delivers.
The story is good. Characters good. I don't think she needs to tell the story in 4 books though. It's milking it a bit. The sex is getting a bit repetitive. All the bouncing, against the wall, and deep throating. Wow. They never use the bathroom either. I know I'm getting picky but she could have made this into a trilogy. I'm even stretching there. 2 books would have been fine. I'm not sure if I will read the last 2. I'm pretty sure they end up happily ever after. I will have to see. I don't know if $3.99 apiece is worth it. Sorry.
A great series. I couldn't put it down. Although its a little too much like the movie, Pretty Woman, I still loved the story and the author is very talented in her execution of it all. It was the kind of book that gets in your heart and you think about the characters for days.Sometimes a little too much. I have to take a breather before I buy the 3rd book. I actually liked the dialogue better than the sex scenes. The character of Livy was fun, strong, and sassy. I loved how she kept cracking jokes Hunter never got and also her boldness about asking him direct questions about his past. I don't think many people do that with people like him because he's very closed off until he can't resist her any longer. I also loved the secretary and chauffeur and how they stuck up for her with Hunter toward the end. NO spoilers though. It has a happy ending.
Love love this series so far and found a new author to follow! I haven't read a series like this in a one time that I immediately purchase next book and pull an all nighter... LolOlivia is holding her own and I'm really liking her. She definitely knew how to handle meeting Bruce and Hunters dad!! Even though he did effect her she made sure to hold her head high while in his presence!!Hunter is a Hot and Sexy man and hopefully he'll lower is shield a little and let her in ! He deserves love and to be happy! In this book you learn more about why Hunter has his guard up and Olivia is really good about being pushy but having patience at the same time.The sex though is really hot!! When there in the same room you can feel the chemistry!!!Off to read book three
