I listen to Dr. Jeffress' sermons all the time and one of them was centered around end times and that's how I heard about this book. I highly recommend this to every believer in Christ as this subject is rarely preached on in church today. He breaks down certain timelines like the church age, rapture etc. without trying to predict anything and everything is scriptural. If he doesn't have an answer for something because scripture has not divulged the info he plainly says it. I recommend reading Revelation while reading this too.

You may not agree with every one of Dr. Robert's conclusions, but it is very likely that you will appreciate his clear and logic - based presentation of a complex subject. I especially enjoyed his explanation of heavenly rewards based on deeds in the body (yes, even though we are saved by grace through faith)!

I enjoyed this book because the mentioned major events were backed with Biblical scripture references. However, there were some opinions that were not backed with Biblical references. Of course, this cannot be helped when speaking about future events that are not clearly explained in the Bible. This book should be read as a supplement to the Bible for any individual wishing to gain more knowledge about future events. By doing so, the reader will walk away with a more thorough understanding of Biblical prophecy.

I have listened to Dr Jeffress a lot through his podcasts and being able to read this book has been a great experience. Prophecy is a topic I would hope most of us find interesting. This reading has helped me understand a lot and put in order what the Bible (John) is trying to tell us. I would like to see our society become more interested in a topic like this. I realize my opinion is not important to most of society, but I myself want to gather any knowledge I can on this subject. His new book is a treasure for that knowledge.

I have been studying Bible prophecy for years due to a burning desire to learn about my Jesus. I watch Pathway to Victory after hearing my Christian brother Robert Jeffress on Jack Van Impe Presents, and I found myself agreeing with his views about everything. This book explained in full detail some events I have already studied but found additional information on. I have enjoyed learning Bible facts and I have already purchased another book by Robert Jeffress.

Proufoundly sobering. Challenging, insiteful reading. I purchased 2 copies to give as gifts.

I happen to be a railroad fan and grew up in Chicago. I have taken the "El" all over Chicago so for that reason I found the book exceptionally interesting. I read it in only two and a half days. I'm sure that this book can be expanded on and I would love to see such a book but this book is probably as good a basic story of the "El" as any. One thing that makes the book as good as it is of course is all the pictures. They are great.

Rode the L all the time for the 1st half of my life. This book is a fantastic look into the creation and growth of the Chicago L system. The book is not much on nostalgia- as it is mainly set in the old days, but fascinating read for history and if you love trains.

Mainly a great photo collection, but the text does provide a context for the pictures and a brief narrative of the various L routes in Chicago. Great resource for those researching the design of early L structures and the L's development along with Chicago in the 20th century.

Very interesting and great old time pictures. This was an excellent history of the L and the routes it traveled. I especially enjoyed the old pictures of the North Shore cars.

Great gift for my best friend who grew up in Chicago in the 1950s and 60s. He absolutely loved it!

For anyone interested in the topic of urban public transportation, this book is a must. If you are from Chicago, you have likely ridden the "L" at some point in your life. This book gives you the entire history of the "L"s development and is loaded with great photos and maps. It includes information on all the various "L" lines including those that have been discontinued. Get this while its in print or you will be sorry you missed it.

I was looking for a good photographic book about the Chicago "L". Not only about historical subjects but even up-to-date images of everyday service. This book totally satisfied me for the first search, a little less for the second. But I think this work is a must for everybody who's interested in public transportation, focused or not on Chicago "L", as it shows how urban transits can fit in an urban context and how they can modify it.
