kindle unlimited, usually do a few words, more depending on subject, and have running list of the books have read {all of them} so can keep up with that and make sure reviews post, no idea why this didn't post, the usual no answer 'answer' that doesn't actually say why they didn't post it, although I have seen reviews that copy/paste 5 {6 if you count the one done for the series} that say exactly the same thing, literally same review for all 6 word for word, sent in reports and their 'review' {just exact same one over and over} but it still stands, I read this series EVERY time it is published which is about twice a week most times, so yeah it's going to be more than average NO IDEA what amazon boggle is THIS time, can even tell without bothering to look it up on goodreads {which amazon starting to screw up as well} that this was the one that was linked to the Ottomans which have several related books just to them but this one was the fight against them, didn't realize, from 'reviews' amazon is letting through in their cookie cutter crap that I needed to take an exam and pass itany of the Captivating History books/Matt Clayton are worth a read, though of course depending on your personal likes and preferences some may be more, or less, interesting to you, although I have personally found all of them interesting in some way or another

The reason why if I heard of this empire before it has long since been forgotten.In this civilization which flourished in modern day Iran you have the typical setup for all civilizations . You have good & bad rulers, kind & ruthless types. You have uprisings, assassination attempts., foreign & domestic policies.This book captures all of this important but lesser known civilizations.Great job as usual by Captivating History.
Great reading about the empires of the past and how they did or did not get along with other empires.
Interesting read about a troubled and turbulent time in the Persian Empire!
