We purchased Linda's previous book, "Pebbles of Gold" and were grateful to see this new book. After buying a Kindle edition I had to get the hard copy for my wife who loves to turn real pages! Linda welcomes you into her world of self-discovery and self-compassion in the journey to better health from the inside out. She offers ideas about both healthy eating and healthy thinking, right down to tips for meditation or self reflection and delicious recipes. Having read lots of books on health and self-compassion, this book is unusual in its integration of practical concepts for both mind and body.
It was an enjoyable read. Don't let the title scare you off. I’m male and It's for anyone struggling with nutrition. The first book I've come across that helps you deal with your thoughts and beliefs surrounding food. The psychology of it that is easy to understand.
