This book is a haphazard smattering of paragraphs on gov. financing with no clear theme or purpose. There is now toon of the technical skills (I.e., math and accounting) needed to actually understand this subject.Also, if you're interested in the non-profit aspect, find a better book. There is a sentance or two hastily stuck on the end of each section explaining "oh yeah, and non-profits do it this way."

This book is beyond boring..but in good condition

Worst book, flat subject. Worst class I've ever takenThis was by far the worst class I've ever taken and this book sealed the deal.

Was ok as a classroom text. Parts were very good, but overall was not over the top.Examples of doing the math of financial management were very good. Thought they added alot to the discussions.

It was really hard to follow and pretty confusing. I wouldn't recommend it although it wasn't a very long book, it wasn't organized well.

It's a school book. It was what I needed in order to pass the class.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get past chapter 1. The writing style is somewhat condescending and choppy. Examples used to introduce and explain concepts are poorly set up and don't help with the discussion. I have yet to read about a subject I haven't seen before, but I can't follow most of what the author is describing, even though I'm familiar with the topic and can probably explain what the author was intending to describe. I gave up because I realized that once I got to a subject that I'm not familiar with, I'd be hopelessly lost.

I started reading the book after I got it and already in love with it. What a book this is!

As someone who is trying to deepen his knowledge on Machine learning, I appreciate the logical and easy to follow thought process by the author. The book articulates the concept very well through both theory and real world application of python in machine learning. Many examples contained in the book owes to the authors experience working in the field with real data and challenges. This is shown by the author through viewing at problems through multiple angles, discussions and possibilities which provide reader an extensive learning experience.I would recommend to aspiring data scientist of all levels especially to those who are eager to get more exposure to machine learning. This book is one of the better written machine learning book who should be a mandatory read on the subject.After finishing the book, the only thing that comes to find would be for the author to hopefully release a future series on the subject.
